 Kumho products enjoy rave reviews from leading German magazines

Kumho products have fared excellently in the latest tyre test carried out by leading German magazine Auto Zeitung and won a major award from another respected German publication - Off Road.
Auto Zeitung
Nine top brands competed in the Auto Zeitung test, including: Kumho, Michelin, Continental, Pirelli and Dunlop. Kumho tied with Michelin for second place behind Continental and received an overall assessment of 'highly recommended'.
The products underwent tests for aquaplaning, braking and handling and were also assessed for general safety and their performance in a slalom. The Kumho ECSTA HM KH31 drew considerable praise for its wet weather abilities, performing best of all in the braking test and being considered fast and safe on the handling circuit in such conditions.
The bi‑weekly Auto Zeitung is among Germany's top four motoring magazines with a circulation of 150,000 and a claimed readership of 700,000.
Off Road
The editorial staff of popular German 4x4 magazine Off Road has voted Kumho's Road Venture MT KL71 as their 'Off Road Tyre 2009'. This accolade comes hot on the heels of its joint victory in the 'ultimate tyre test', which was organised last year by 4x4 Magazine and Land Rover World to establish the best mud‑terrain tyre on the UK market.
In presenting the Award to H.S.Lee, President of Kumho Tire Europe GmbH, Off Road cited amongst the reasons for their choice the advanced technology and notable breadth of Kumho's 4x4 range.
Commenting on these rewarding results for Kumho products N.W. Cho, Senior Researcher of Kumho Tires R&D Center, said, "Such informed test results are welcome independent recognition of the performance and quality of our tyres and can only have a positive influence on the purchasing decisions of European consumers."
