 Kumho Tires Demonstrates its Technology Leadership at 2008 Beijing Automotive Exhibition

Showcases latest tyres and other innovative products
Kumho Tires is showcasing 23 products including its new ECSTA HM KH31, SOLUS KH17 summer and SOLUS KH25 all-season tyres from April 20 to 28 at the 2008 Beijing Automotive Exhibition.
"Our latest passenger car tyres draw on technology we created for our racing tyres, making them some of the most advanced in the world in terms of safety, comfort and reliability," said Sae-chul Oh, president and CEO of Kumho Tires. "Our performance tyres are helping us achieve our goal of being a top five player in the global tyre market."
Along with these latest products, the Kumho stand will feature its innovative aroma, run flat, coloured smoke and aviation products.
Kumho Tires was the first foreign tyre maker to enter the Chinese market and is now the number one in the PCR tyre market there. The company has three manufacturing facilities in Nanjing, Tianjin and Changchun, as well as an R&D centre in Tianjin. It has been selected as the preferred tyre brand among Chinese consumers.
Earlier this year, Kumho Tires participated in the 78th Geneva International Motor Show where the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Journey were equipped with its tyres. The company will continue to demonstrate its technological leadership at upcoming international automotive exhibitions this year, including the Paris Auto Show in October. It also regularly participates in the SEMA show, the premier automotive specialty products trade event, held at Las Vegas in the USA.
The biennial Beijing Automotive Exhibition is being held in Beijing, China from April 20 to 28 at the newly built China International Exhibition Center. This is one of the largest auto exhibitions in the world and draws 2,000 companies from 18 countries around the world to China, the world's second largest car market.
