 Kumho to supply tyres for the Mercedes‑Benz Viano X‑Clusive

Kumho Tyres has announced that it is to supply tyres for OE fit to the new Mercedes‑Benz Viano X‑Clusive - the range‑topping Viano with the comfort of a luxury saloon and the practicality of an MPV, that made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show last year.
The X‑Clusive's 18" alloy wheels will be shod with Kumho's ECSTA KU19 UHP (Ultra High Performance) tyres. The asymmetric tread pattern combines optimal dry and wet weather performance with a smooth ride and minimal road noise.
Kumho has supplied Daimler AG with tyres for the Mercedes‑Benz A‑Class since last year and worked closely with the company in the development of the tyres for the Viano X‑Clusive.
Kumho makes no secret of its intention to be among the top five global tyre suppliers by 2015 and is both investing heavily in its R&D facilities and strengthening its OE business operations in North America and Europe in pursuit of that aim. It is also doing much to increase its brand awareness in the aftermarket, and last year became a Platinum sponsor of Manchester United football club ‑ one of the greatest of all global brands.
