Tyres are best stored in a cool, dark and dry environment away from direct sunlight, high temperatures or high voltage machinery.
The life and performance of competition tyres will be improved if they are ‘scrubbed in’ for a few miles before being run at racing speed.
Kumho motorsport tyres are of tubeless construction and therefore need to be fitted with extra care to ensure perfect seating of the tyre bead without damage to the rim flange. The use of a suitable tyre fitting machine is strongly recommended. Rims should be carefully checked for cracks, rust or any damage which may prevent an airtight fitment.
Tyres should not be inflated above 40 psi (2.7 bar). If the beads do not seat at this pressure, deflate the tyre, rotate the tyre 90 degrees on the rim and re-inflate to 40 psi. If this fails to seat the bead, the assembly should be put into a safety cage and inflated to a maximum 65 psi. Failure to use a safety cage could result in serious injury.
The correct pressure varies according to driver, car and track conditions; it is often a matter of personal preference, but sufficient pressure must always be used to avoid structural damage to the tyre.

Kumho motorsport tyres are specially designed and compounded for competition
use. No warranty is given due to the extreme conditions under which they
operate.
